The Sams-Jones House 10X8 Thin Canvas
The Sams-Jones House | Historic Cary Canvas
Built around 1902 for educator Edward Sams, the Sams-Jones House reflects a time when education was helping shape Cary’s identity. Sams came to Cary as principal of Cary High School as the community was on its way to becoming home to North Carolina’s first public high school.
Over the generations, the house became home to Cary families and, like so many of the town’s historic places, eventually found a new purpose. Today, this distinctive downtown landmark continues its story as home to a local business.
This 10" × 8" landscape canvas pairs a vintage-inspired architectural rendering with a glimpse into the history of a house that connects Cary’s educational legacy, generations of families, and its evolving downtown.
Created for those who love Cary, local history, historic architecture, and the places that continue to tell the community’s story.
